About WON...

hey, i'm kinda new to this "ESF" thingy, but does the version 1.2.3 still works on WON Half-Life? it's because i have this original HL CD laying around and i think (my opinion) that WON is better than steam (my opinion at least).

The mod is designed to work with steam. It will still function on the old won version yes.
But it will lack many features and it will have alot of graphic bugs.
Also without steam you cannot play online with anyone.

It should work, but expect crashes.

At least as far as 1.2.3 goes. The final simply wont run with WON.

does the WON still have master servers running lol ? If you have a key for that half life you should be able to register it with steam... or just mail their support with a picture of key, box and CD they should grant you this game.
I once tried that with 1.2.3 and it was crashing quite frequently.
