I was wondering, will ESF include normal mapping, or is that just too much for the engine to handle? I just can't help to notice that any muscular texture, still looks incredibly flat compared to the rest of the model.

We've been using normal maps for a long time. It just looks weird on muscles imho. You'd have to ask GG or Kama.

The splash effects on the waterfall are AMAZING!!! Not like the old esf where the water is a skinny body of water.

Damn guys how many steroids are you going to give the Half life 1 engine.
