I found the concept art for this game called impossible creatures so i wanted to model it.

If any one wants to skin this, i would be happy to upload it once ive finished it :)

The model still needs a belt thing, and a head :p

yeh, the poly placment on that area is abit messed up, with the leg, it fits the ref but ill change it anyway :)

Edit, i did what u guys sed :devil: , heres some screens

yeh ok lol, the model still need a belt with a bag so ill do that now :) update later :), oh and the poly count atm is at 1630 polys

Some things:

A. The knees are too low, and too narrow. Also I suggest adding some polies to the lower leg to give them better shape.

B. The wrist and hand look really weird, like her bones are rubber. Move them up some.

C. Even if it's in the concept, the boots don't look at all right. They're too wide at the front, and come out too much at the heel.

D. The front of the hips are quite flat looking, which kinda of suggest improper polygon placement for good deformation. Could you post some flats and your concept?

you know if you have 3ds max, a better way to render with wireframe is to

1. Turn your background color to a light gray
2. selectyour mesh and then clone it(make sure your mesh is in the exact same coordinates that the original occupies)
3. In the Material Editor create a black material. Under Shader basic parameters checkmark wire. Under Extended Parameters set your wire to 0.5
4. Apply the new wire material to the clone mesh.
5. Add a PUSH modifier to the clone mesh..set it to about 0.2
Now when you render you will have a shaded wire frame

Very nice, but define the shadows a bit more and define TEH ALL MIGHTY BUTTONS!!!111oneoneone

Same for the boots.

But do not overdo the shadowing. I did that last time I tried to skin and I screwed up the model. And no it's not my work, just voluntary stuff.
