A star wars game that actually looks.. good??

game looks pretty good gameplay wise.
Its basically like a shooter game with the lightsabers and everything...
Lucas hasnt been able to really create a amazing lightsaber game yet. This game could be interesting. Anybody interested in this game?

It's not for the pc though.. i can't see it being very good for xbox or ps2.

Because games like that are usually better for the pc. Compare starwars academy for the pc with the one for xbox if you don't believe me.

That's not a fact, that's an opinion. I seriously think games like this can be played just as well on pc as on any console.

Games are usually better on PC for a couple of reasons. The graphics are almost always better, becuase most TV's have really bad resolution, better controls (nothing beats keyboard and mouse), and multiplayer is free as opposed to Xbox's xbox live. The game still looks nice, and I'm sure it'll be fun, but I'd rather play it for PC. Same thing with Prince of Persia, The Punisher, Halo, etc.

but yeah, jedi academy really really sucked on xbox =\ >_> multiplayer on xbox sucked too. Im a bit sceptical as this is only for console, but im willing to be open to it. It just looks like they've improved jedi academy to me =\. Something to sell while they rake in the money at the cinema's

I gotta disagree about controls. When it comes to fighters/action games (like DMC or PoP) I definitely think that consoles dominate PCs in control.

Exactly how is this game laid out? I have been looking through the site and can't really tell how the controls work with combos and force powers and the such...anyone else able to give some insight?

pc only dominates in terms of fps/tps games and rts games
games like pop/dmc dont require the amount of accuracy the typical sw game has(ie.. crosshairs heh)
though many console games have had trouble with running the 2 tasks of movement and aiming at once (Gtasa annoyed the hell out of me and many with driving uphills and having to hold the stick down to see all the way up, mouse can stay in place, and.. almost every platform game...) though a game like POP is a game where i spend atleast 5 mins observing the entire room from every camera angle possible, would be easier to do with movement at the same time perhaps

anyways, the topic is kind of a joke considering how highly succesful the kotor games have been, and though i havent played JO, i love JA
not to mention the battlefront and republic commando are equally enjoyable in their own rights.. im just amazed at how many diff games they can base off 1 movie alone heh

I dislike the game already because first of all, they don`t get the fact that a lightsaber is NOT a stick, its supposed to cut through those droids like butter.
Second, if its a console only game, its bound to have a sucky camera system and alot of other faults.
