I recently got myself a tablet (heaven on earth!) and am now so heavily addicted to it that i blame god for being unable to play shooters with it..
oh well..

i messed up a picture of my older sister:

Haowarang.. could you explain what you mean by facial features?

and Dave.. its quite simple really, make a brush, then goto shape dynamics, put the control of the size jitter on pen pressure... i did it all with just that brush...

GReat job, it looks pretty good. It isn't really that hard as some people would think, the hardest part probably is just getting the right colors.

The nose, eyes, and lips need some tweaking.

yeah just noticed that the nose looks a bit big between the eyes. need to change that, I think the rest is pretty good.

im not gonna change it anymore, since this was only a practise.. but i do learn from my mistakes

looks nice, the nose is a lil fatter then the original dough, but eh, what tablet do you have? i have one from " medion" the cheapest brand of this sort of stuff, but my tablet is as big as my screen. ( 30 cm bij 28.5 cm) but it doesnt work always.
the only crit is have is that you forgot to make the mole on the right side of her lip, the for us right side that is Great job.

I've heard that taping a piece of paper on the surface of the tablet gives you a more familiar control texture for drawing, that may help out a little. I have two suggestions at this point: 1)Draw from life, not from photographs. Photographs tend to warp your drawings and create a very sterile flatness to everything. Regardless of what you may think, seeing the real thing with the eye makes that much of a difference. 2)Broaden your strokes. You have the "furry" lines now that are a result of connecting many small strokes into a large line. Don't do that. Draw the line, not segments of the line. It's a hard habit to break, but not impossible with practice.

Looks good though, stick with it.
