A-mazing DBZ Bruce Faulconer Soundtrack Re-makes!

Since I found out that a guy who worked with Faulconer on DBZ's US soundtrack, "MorganStudios" had been doing a lot of fanservice and stuff in his own home studio for Youtube, I've subscribed to him to hear his stuff. But just the other day he instead sent his subscribers a link to another artist, who has been using his own Studio to recreate and Remix several of DBZ's greatest US themes! I thought I'd link him and share some of the great stuff here.

My favorite, obviously, is his nigh perfect SS3 theme recreation!

And of course there are several others. The only drawback to these wonderful remakes/remixes is that he tends to overdo the bass a bit, giving it a grungy feel at times and making the mix feel a bit muddy. But it's still pretty awesome.

Eh... I like the old ones better... these kinda sucked in my opinion... Just sped up the themes and added bass.

Theyre not awesome. Dont get me wrong, they are well crafted - reproducing all the channels and riffs - but its still all too much of the same.

Changing some samples and adding one or two drumloops to the mix doesnt take it a step higher IMO. They all seem to build up to an anticlimax that lasts the next 75% of the track. The only one I really liked is the Cell theme, if only because it uses the same drumloop rythm from another techno remix i have on disk (sadly theres no author info )

Morgan has some cleanly equalized alternative beats rather than faulconer reruns, although I can hear a few BF samples here and there in the pads .

BTW Sott, I absolutely LOVE Darth Vegeta ^_^ Sick guitar work

Though I must say I've never sampled any of the Faulconer Productions tracks in my new work. I'm using the same synths so it might sound like it sometimes.

(btw, I also don't believe Jeezy sampled us, inspite of the rumors)
