A mage dude

I rarely draw stuff on the computer but please bare my drawing, its cruddy and messy. Its a draft but this class i'm probably going to take next year requires some knowledge of the "pen tool" and some bunch of other stuff in Photoshop.

Can someone help me how to use a pen tool or a good tutorial that shows you the basics of it? ;/

I can't really help you there, but as for the drawing.. either his shoulders are too high or he's missing his neck

I just learned how to use the pen tool decently, only a few weeks ago...
I did use some tutorial somewhere but cant remember anymore.
