A little help with instalation?

Hey, I have just bought Half Life 2 Special Edition which has counter strike with it, will this work with esf? if so where do i install it all to?

Half-Life 2 won't work for playing ESF. ESF is a Half-Life 1 mod, so you'll need that to play. Sorreh. =/

Can you play ESF on the Source engine?

You can buy Half-Life and a collection of Valve-released mods through Steam here (it's the package on the bottom). That's a rather good price, you'll probably have a tough time finding a better deal.
