ok fire a normal beam or any beam etc etc at someone and say if they fly towards you once you have fired and teh beam goes way way passed them, just hold first attack button on them and lol you will see the beam curv up and around and hit them its quite funni

i think if u have your cursor on them it will arc towards them regardless of mouseclicking
obviously if theyr in your face ull have the cursor on them

that's not a bug ... aim near an object ... and if the beam is next to this object, aim at the object
the beam will circle around it

it' just because beam aren't controlled by a god ... the have a min. turn radius (every beam has another)
