Ok, finally got PS7 reinstalled and i decided to make something i havnt made, no anime, no grundge, none of that. Just the standard PS7 brushes, no filters or any of that bs. Tell me what you think.

Looks really flat. And the way the shadow is you can't really tell where the light sorce is and whats giving it that shadow.

Looks legit, the lens flare could be blended a little more though.

thats a specular, not a lens flare. big difference. and as altec said, it looks rather flat. You tried to make the bottom part look glossy by reflecting the color of the table, but it doesnt go w/ the top, which just has a dull finish to it

Ok, that makes sence. I couldnt think of a place to add another specular, and as OS said, its not a lense flair, lense flairs are nice but they seem rather newbish if you ask me. I will see what i can do, i will try to make it look more glassy, but its at like a top angle so its gonnalook flat no matter what. And as soon as i posted it i noticed the shadow was in the wrong place, you can tell where the light source is by the specular, but the shadow kinda throws that off, i will definatly change that.

Make it more black also. Imo its a little bit too light shade of grey.

(btw doing it with stock photoshop brushes is no big deal that's how I do all my work..)
