3dsmax + vista = compatible?

is 3dsmax 8 or 9 Vista compatible..? how come it doen't work.. i have vista ultimate.. 512 ram.. 160 gb hard drive.. geforce4 graphics card.. an amd athlon 3000+

It doesnt work because Vista's operation system has a clash with the program. To fix this go to the autodesk website and get the 3ds Max 9 hotfixes, What it does is disable Vista features that stop max 9 from
working its magic.
