3ds max help model load

hey

im new to make model so i think i can load the normel model and make a chence. but i can not load a model..

and i can not save one.

3ds max do wont to make mdl fils or load it.. why can it be when you say that the progam to make the mdl fils???

ok i can not load and save mdl fils. the fils i us in CS or ESF

So you are unable to load an ESF/CS model file and save a model file. You may need plugins for it, but I'm sure you don't. Try loading a different file type with the choose file type scroller after clicking open file. If that doesn't work ask Mad_AxMan. He is a Maxer.

yeah you need export plugins for .smd format.

its not as simple as just making a model though, you have to model, uvw map, texture, rig to a skeleton/biped. a lot of hard work is involved. go do some research!
