24 bit to 8 bit!?

Ok I have run into another problem, I have reskined Mystic Gohan to have a Red Suit, but now I when I save my BMP I can only save it with 24 bit color, and it won't apply it in HLMV. Do all HL skin have to be 8 bit? If so how can i get it down to 8 bit?

Adobe . Image , mode, Index colour . That way u save as 8 bit .

If your using photoshop you need to convert the image to indexed (256) color. Go to image>mode>indexed color.

Great it worked...I have another adobe question When I am in the He/Saturation mode, can i select a certain part of the image to adjust or does it have to be the whole thing?

Use the lasco tool select sertain part and colorize it

IF it's separated in more than 1 layer, U need to select the layer , and use the polygonal lasso tool, to the stuff u want to fix .
