I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were regarding the Olympics being held in China - more specifically, Beijing. Besides the human rights issue, it seems that China's pollution problem will be the deciding factor in this year's Olympics. Especially since many Olympic athletes have shown concern towards the conditions in which they are competing in. Which could end up being very detrimental to the performance and health of the athletes.

I refuse to support China for humanitarian reasons. I think it was a terrible decision to hold the Olympics in China--especially in Beijing--and as such, won't be supporting them, either.
