Just use the env_model entity and change the model name to the name of the model you want.

Nice map and when 1.2 comes out the way advanced melee looks this is gonna be great for proper dragon ball z type fights.

Yeah, very simple brushwork.
It's a good start for a first map I guess, I doesn't look like it got compiled with light though. Did you use a light_environment?
Keep working on little projects though. It's best to just use little maps like this for experience rather than actually releasing them to the public.

I sort of did it the other way around, I waited and tried all techniques in my first map before I released it. Awww how it sucked and lagged, still, I learned every tool's (not perfectly of course) functions.

Seems like a good time to make sure everyone knows that it's not helpful to people who make stuff if you act like a yes man and tell them everything is great when it's not. Legitimate crticism is how people improve at this stuff.

yes this is my first map (that worked normaly :D) in the first map i had about 200 ping on my own computer :(
and i agree with you it is helpfull if peuple tell you what's wrong
but it's nice to hear some compliments too
this is a 1 vs 1 map for turnament fights i hoped to make a map with bodukai rules

hehe ... it took me 2 days to make my very first map :D ... s2k_budokai_alpha ^_^ ... yeah, good old eas alpha times lol

took me 1h to know how to place blocks and compile weaks to learn how to build the sky and use some entitys than a fiew more days to manage using batch compiler and the hull file
but about the terain editor?

Most of the infamous people here don't use terrain editors. Now unfortunately this discussion has to get back to Grega's map instead of mapping history.

lol, not bad for your first map, but you should have asked for improvements on how to make it look better, before releasing it.
->Cons:
1) too small
2) too general
3) not enough content

1) Runs at 100fps no problem
2) smooth as hell
3) great for trapping n00bs in the corners, lol

im not sure of what to tell by it, either you hate krillin to so much you decided to make an image of him getting his @$$ whipped, or you like him so much that you're showing you still like him even though he is so weak.
