In a city full of people who were only thinking about where they'd get their next meal he saw the need to get the hell out. And what's more, instead of just making tracks, he decided to take as many people as he could.

Amongst the chaos and the hunger and the despair rational thought seems pretty damn heroic to me.

Guys a great person personally i would just be to stuned to do anything actaully (pathetic i noe) and he had the guts to try and save ppl the guy is awesome

He didn't do it because he wanted a reward, he did it because he thought it was the right thing to do.
