Thread: ESF low fps

  1. #1

    Angry ESF low fps

I recently re installed esf 1.2.3 and ECX RC2 addon . its all fine until i join a server and start playing i have crazy framedrops from 700 to 10 and 7 fps
i don't know what is wrong , please help:

    my specs are : CPU:intel core i5 4460 @ 3.2Ghz
    GPU:Nvidia Geforce 760GTX 4GB of VRAM GDDR5
    RAM:8GB @ 1600Mhz
    OS:Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Regarding specs there is no way that the game should not run smoothly (btw in cs 1.6 i get over 1000 fps in game )
its not normal to experience such framedrops.

Do you by any chances notice an abnormal high amount of brightness in the map ?
If so then its a bug i think and it will fix itself up whenever shenron is summoned or the map changes.

You don´t, you wait till the map changes or shenron is summoned, once that happens the game will run smoothly again.

So im guessing its an ECX related bug.

Is ESF installed in Counter Strike 1.6 or Half Life?

Thats not related to the bug i play on half life on steam and i get this bug everytime i connect to an ecx server.

Sounds like it's the server or ECX. My friend is experiencing problems where it will not allow him to install the big pack.

When you connect to the server on certain maps like kami, city or cell_night the map appears insanely bright for some reason. As soon as the dragon balls are activated it resets the brightness immediately and FPS returns to normal.
