so i heard about this game through a reviewer and thought it'd be fun

so i go and download it and it gets done i restart steam and the game never shows up not allowing me to play it i did the verification i don't know what to do i can't play the game that i would really like to play ;( i really need help i have half life 1 and everything but nope

Well I can try to help ya out. One of the problems I think, you said you have Half-life.
However when I view your steam profile and look at your games installed, Half-life is not listed.
Are you certain you have Half-life installed? I added you to my steam friends to try and assist.
