ok, i have got to be doing the goddamn dumbest thing ever. my keyboard broke, not physically, but just in the configuration. i am using an on screen keyb. and ****, anyone actually want to help me?
By configuration you mean it's set to a different language?
And if that is the case, click on start/ control panel/ keyboard
and there should be a tab with language on it. Then press properties and select the right one.
