Well, I decided to use MS3D. I have my model made n all, but I can't export it into a HL SMD... It says "Invalid bone assignment to vertex, Model not Exported!" How can I do this?

you must assign the vertexs to the respective joint or bone

go to the joints tab and select a bone. then select all the vertices corresponding to that bone in ur viewports. then on the joint tab click assign. do this to the whole model. if u click select unassigned there should be no red vertices.

Kinda stupid question, but... What's a bone?

bone..joint..same difference. in the joints tab there should be a list of joints. just click one and it will light up. then select the vertices u want to be assigned to that joint and click assign..etc. u get the picture

Wow..that was a very stupid thing to say. Has he even displayed any work yet?
What he made could be the best model you've ever seen. Just because he doesn't know the terminology doesn't mean that he's not good at what he does.

At least think a little before you say something..

Thank you for your explaination, and whomever posted "u shouldnt model ure not good at it" shouldn't speak, He prolly dunno anything about anything, so... (J/K) I'm not sayin' I'm the best, I just wanna learn at some point.
