Well, for a short period of time, the CDN was actually worth more.

Your navy still consists of a snorkle man in a dingy with a rubber ducky and a suicide bomber beaver.

Other than that, congrats Canada.

(I do have great respect for Canada's snipers thought)

lol, we have dinars, but they are so small worthy, so 80 dinars is one euro. And we don't exctually have anything smaller then dinar, though it just officialy exist value that is 100th part of dinar. But, as Onslaught said, I think pounds (English) are the biggest value (that I know for)

Well it used to be like $2.20 or something, so it was almost as awkward as lbs and kg...

Well due to the fact that the US is neck down in dept the USD is loosing on value.

Our debt doesn't have anything to do with the US dollar weakening. Compared to the US GNP, our debt isn't really increasing that much--even though the current administration is wasting ungodly amounts of money on the war in Iraq.

The weakening US dollar actually reduces the value of the debt that other countries hold--Japan for instance, buys our debt from us--but since our money is becoming worth less, the debt they've already bought becomes worth less.

Supposedly, a weak dollar means that our goods are cheaper for other countries to buy, which helps us compete against China. Doesn't mean the economy is in a recession or is going down the tubes--it's fairly strong at the moment.

Competing with cents an hour labour? gl hf

You'll be able to take them on quality, but your COGS is still going to be through the roof compared with theirs.

1.00 GBP = 2.01247 USD

w00p

it's kinda weird actually... i don't considder england to be THAT expensive, if you compare wages with what you can buy, it's actually really good. the only thing that is very expensive here, is housing, and fuel.

but anyone who comes here thinks we're overpriced lol. then again, we overpower just about every other currency. i'm gonna have to go to america and buy my next guitar there :p HELLO HALFPRICE D:

All I know is when I went to London last winter I felt like I was spending twice as much.

It really isn't that expensive, it just seems like it is to us Americans.
