if you register your real cd key at steam, yes. Steam is required to play esf. www.steampowered.com

you cant play online without steam, so you'll be left with fighting bots...bots become boring... just go buy half life, its worth it.

the problem is he never said anything about won he just wants cs and esf like a normal game thats not linked to a big ****ty network like steam and i dont blame him..

if u notice all he's been askin was playing WITHOUT steam, keyword without.. thus playing esf not related to steam... and i think the only answer for that would be won.. maybe he doesnt know what won was, or what it was called. and yes i agree that steam is a steaming pile of crap >_< but even though the word won was not said, i think that was the answer he was looking for

Its complicated, are the people that are "confused" about steam still in 1st grade? Its a rather easy concept to understand.
