So I just found a DVI --> HDMI cable that works perfectly, so now my 32" tv is now a secondary monitor. I'm wondering, is there any way to hook up individual speakers to where it can detect whatever is on the second monitor, be played through speakers. kind of like an if-then statement...

So I'm looking for a way to record the sound that is outputting through my speakers at a given time. The trick is, although I remember how to do this on XP, I've got no clue on how to manage it on vista. Thoughts?

Yeah, what type of speakers do you have? I have a Altec Lansing, a ACS48 Edition. These are very awsome speakers. Bass is just perfect, and plus it's digital. When I play a high quality music, it just owns.
