today i bought some new ram + agp video card i bought a radeon 9600 pro 256mb ati graphics card and installed latest drivers. i go to play cs 1.6 and cz and it plays like ****. fps start of with 100 then drop down to 15-30 and it the player moves very bad. the cross hair also moves responds...

Im thinking about getting a Powercolor Radeon 9800 Pro 256MB for $175 O_O but i dont know though. I was wonder what some of you think if i should get it or not. dont want to waste my money on something that wont work like its suppose to.

If you are thinking of installing the latest drivers for the ATI Radeon card series forget about it... it'll give you random crashes while playing Half Life and it's MODS. I've learnt this from my own experience and a friend told it's also being debated in CS forums.

what's going on here? every other game i run is beautiful but half life, earth special forces, and counterstrike have pretty crappy graphics. I'm talking in terms of frame rate, and anti-aliasing. All i want is no jaggies and a good framerate. I can do this with my Geforce 3 just fine but...
