I think LSSJ is stronger than a regular SSJ2. Could rivalize with SSJ3 but SSJ3 has a time limit. LSSJ just seems to have unlimited energy, the guy blasts every thing on his way just to calm down for a couple of minutes (like in the first movie he appears). His only weak point, is that he is irrational.
I think it was allways stupid the way he died. He would rivalize well with kid buu or janemba. (I was going to say mystic gohan, but that’s a bit to much)

@Snowman USSJ is the Super Trunks form, the one he used to fight perfect cell. Technically its called USSJ3.
LSSJ is the Legendary form used by Brolly but to me their power seems to be the same.
Brolly is a bit weaker than Perfect Cell and no match for a SSJ2.

then when gonah goten trunks and goku fought broly in the end
when goku came and when he made a kameha broly was going to die at the verry momment
Broly’s strength was the same in both 8 and 10 movies. In 8th one, he lost the fight only because he got hit to his weakest point - his stomatch, where he had a dagger stabbed long time ago. In 10th movie, he couldn’t outstand 3 SSJs’ Kamehameha wave, moreover, Trunks also helped them with his shot.
BTW, SSJ2 Gohan shown a lot weaker than LSSJ Broly, of course if it was SSJ2 Goku or Vegeta, they wouldn’t lose so badly though Gohan didn’t train long time and is kinda weak in his SSJ2 form. According to that I’m making a decision that LSSJ >= SSJ2. Also, during the triple Kamehameha, they all were SSJ1.

Broly was fought long before SSJ2 was even a possibility. If anyone wanted to put up a better fight they wouldve ascended to USSJ form, which they didnt cause they couldnt yet, so SSJ2 is out of the question, it happens way after.
Broly was killed by a supercharged SSJ1 Goku, regardless if he was hit in his weak spot.
broly just is stronger than every of the saiyans in the first movie
but the thing is that everyone gave their energy to goku so that he has the energy to throw a punch at broly and defeat him

And the Gohan of that time didnt know how to actually go SSJ2. Not to mention he was weaker than the Cell fight cuase he didnt train at all.
