Doesn’t matter to me, I just thought that it should matter to a “vBulletin addict” (LOL) like you that you write it incorrectly.

I’m not an ‘addict’, I just like doing tech stuff like this :). Especially on a large scale forum as this one. I’ve also removed the spam posts below, please keep the spam out of this thread, thank u.

This december, (days / weeks after December 21) the forums will be fully upgraded from vBulletin 3.8.4 to vBulletin 4.0. To be sure that the forums will be successfully updated, it’ll stay offline for at least 6 hours. But I’ll be mentioning the date of upgrade once the time comes.

I always create backups of every single thing and upgrade I do. Even on the vBulletin 4 preview forum. You guys worry too much :).

Just a small reminder. Dont want the Forums down for 6 hours and 1 minute cause god knows Chaos will break out.

I’ve learned from the mistakes in the past :), so I’m not going to make the same mistake twice. Besides, doing a lot of forum wide backups weekly as well.

What chat box? So far, the current chat box is not compatible with vBulletin 4.

What do you mean what chatbox? You were showing pictures of the chatbox and EC was talking about the chatbox a few days ago.

Well the chatbox currently in use will not be changed. Itll still have all the features it has. But its not compatible with the new forum.

So the chatbox itself will still have all the features. But it wont be used since its not compatible with the forum ^^

Actually.. The chat box you saw on the preview images is merely an alternative. It’s not something I wish to keep for permanent usage.

I honestly don’t know. EC did mentioned a converted chatbox, yes. But I haven’t seen it yet and he mentioned he was using an older version.
