Scariest moment ever..mmkay

omfg.. this aint the scariest moment, but i really gotta tell u guys this1! it happened just the last night, i was falling sleep, the clock was smthng like 1-2PM z0ing..

well anywayz, i was just falling asleep dreaming of smthng neat :stuck_out_tongue: but then, i just suddenly snapped awake when smthng snapped just little over me, the noice was smthng like when u hit a wall with a thin and long whip or smthng. it snaps u know ;p well i heard that noice just next to me when i was sleeping and when there was no1 in my room, after that. i couldn’t sleep  i have no idea why, but i just gotta open my eyes when i closed them -.- damnit it was all weird!

Aight, i was asleep, and then I had a dream (out of many) where I was running. Not running away, but running. I felt relaxed, calm. Next thing I knew, a vampire / zombie (an anime styled one) suddenly burst out of the ground. It was soo real and scary, with saliva falling from it’s fingers, mouth and stomach (it was leaning over). It turned my surroundings (which was grass) into this urban landscape. I turned to run away, and strangely I escaped. I ran until the end of the city where I got sucked through a hole. And then all i could hear was this ‘wrong’ sucking noise (i heard it throughout the event) and ev0l laughter. It freaked me out totally.

When I made the comment about ghosts, JLN, I meant it explained a lot of “reportings.” i.e, they weren’t actually being haunted. It was just sleep paralysis.

I think you misinterpreted what I was saying. I meant it explained the feeling I sometimes get when I wake up in a morning, as I’d never really thought about it much before.
I think that’s what you were replying to, because I definitely didn’t have the ghosts thing on my mind when I wrote that

You know, nothing is funny about it. ANd it gets pretty annoying when you add faces and smiles in the middle of a sentance -_-

Mine was when I was doing something, then I turned over and I saw this ghost thing watching me. The one that scared me hte most is when I had went to the bathroom some time (wasn’t daylight savings so it was about 9:00 or 10:00 or something.) After I opened the bathroom door to go back to my room I saw this ****ing red demon thing. It was freaky =O

By adding smilies to my sentences i show that i DO find it funny, which it is.
Did my story scare you or something? i’m not afraid of ghosts, witches, stuff like that.
So to me that is funny, it was probably nothing anway.

most of yo where asleep when ya all get something horrobil <_< so borring… noody got something like i had

Cap, that’s pretty weird. If you’d been awake for a while and everything I wouldn’t expect to have a SECOND paralysis. But I mean, I’m not a doctor. It’s possible you’re just a bit different from others.
Lmao. You have NO idea how often I hear that :stuck_out_tongue:
It’s also possible there’s a ghost in your room. :]
That is something I have thought since before I moved into this room (I was in a different bedroom until last year.) Since moving in I’ve had a couple of weird things happen but I don’t really believe there is anything.

My scariest moment was when I was at the hospitol for an ATV accident. I was bleeding from my head pretty bad (got stabbed with a stick and a rock gashed my head open) and fractured my leg.

I was lying on the x-ray table and I couldnt stop shaking. They said my muscles were so tense because of the shock, so they lightly strapped me down and finished with the x-rays.

The end.

Want something that wasn’t anywhere near sleep? Ok.

Before I start I’d just like to mention that the front door to my house WILL NOT LOCK WITHOUT A KEY. So simply closing the door will not lock it from either side, but, when it IS locked you will not be able to open it fropm either side without a key.

Ok, this was a few years ago (I forget how many). My sister and my parents were away at a horse show I think (my sister rides horses). I have 2 older brothers and the oldest one had gone out drinking with his friends. That left just me and my other brother in the house.

This was at night. I was happily watching TV in the living room when I heard the front door open and close (makes a VERY distinct sound). I thought my brother had returned so I went to say hi. No one was in the room and the door was locked. I told my other brother and he had a look around and found nothing, he decided that our brother must have forgotten something earlier on and come back to get it then left. Happy with this explanation I went back to watching TV. A while later (not sure how long) I heard it again, went out and same as last time with the door locked. Again my brother decided that it was simply our brother coming back and then going again. Went back to watching TV. A couple of hours later someone was knocking on the front door. I was a bit confused as to why someone would be knocking on the door in the middle of the night but when I answered the door it turned out to be my oldest brother. He had forgotten his key.

Hehe, this one is kind of funny. I believe I was like 12 or 13 when this happened.

Scariest moment of my life: I was sleeping one night. And I woke up because I had to go to the bathroom. So I sit up, and I try to move the covers off my bed. But nothing happens. (I was trying to do it with my left hand) And that’s when I realized… I couldn’t feel my left hand. At all. It was completely and utterly numb. I was like OMFG!!! I started screaming, I ran to my mom’s bedroom and was like MOM MOM MOM MOM I CAN’T FEEL MY HAND!!! And I was paniking and ****. And I thought that I’d never be able to use my hand again (god knows I need it  ) So then my mom tells me “Chris you probably just slept on it” I was like “Oh, ok” And then soon I got feeling back in my hand. (I never had any part of my body “fall asleep” on me before.

P.S- I’m right handed.

He had forgotten his key.

Eh, if he entered and exited several times isn’t it possible that he forgot his key during the very last of the other visits?

Unless you asked and he said he never came back even once before that. Which I guess is probably what happened eh?

If you noticed I said the door CANNOT be locked without a key, and yet, the door was locked. Also, we asked him and he said he hadn’t been back at all.

I’m not sure if that Sleep Parlys thing has happened to me.(Stfu correction whores! =D)

Sometimes when I fall asleep my eyes are open and I actually see the stuff going on in my room I’m not sure if I’m able to move or not but then I just fall back asleep. It might be sleeping with my eyes open sometimes. But I’m not sure if that was the sleeping thing or not.

Ah… my scarriest moment would have to be when I was ~15. Parents were out of the house and it was around 1:30 in the morning. I got up to get some water in the kitchen and turned on the light. I walked to the sink and got a cup from the cupboard and turned back to the sink and my stepdad out of nowhere just throws his hands and face into the window from outside and it scared the utter **** out of me. I literally fell to the corner between the refrigerator and the wall for a few seconds because my legs wouldn’t work at all. I could hear him laughing like crazy for a half an hour after that, but man, that’s a really jolter.

I dont really know if this is the scariest thing eva but last evening, about 11-12 pm i was watching TV in our livingroom and my parents were sleeping. Well, i had this huge headset on so the TV wouldnt bother my parents, and i didnt hear anything outside the headset (thats a really nasty feeling) and there was only lights in our kitchen. It was pretty dark outside, too and large windows that are in our livingroom reflected a bit like mirrors. Not very much or accurately. Im sitting on a sofa and watching TV and I look a bit off from the TV and see the window. I was like OMFGWTF saw reflection on the window and theres something like a rotting corpse sitting next to me i couldnt even scream i was so frightened and i jumped off the sofa.. But there was nothing there so i look at the window again and realize that it was my own reflection >.< the unaccurate reflection and the large headset with the darkness made the reflection look like a zombie that really scared the ****s outta me

I have the same problem.I am half-awake at night and my dreams go on in my room and sometimes I see people who try to catch me or kill me and I run out of my room and down in the floor.Mostly I wake up then.

The scariest thing was in a hospitla when i was 12 or 13.i slept and I was half-awake and I Thought:“the other guy in the room trys to kill me!”
So i ran out of the Room and run into two nurses which calmed me down.
But the strange thing was I had really some scratches on my back and the pain in my half-awake dream thingy was real.
