how about this proen thery that made me think long anh hard till i had a head ache…
it has been proven that if you travel towards the constalation (sp?) Vega ,leaving directly with eath behind you, and Vega in front of you, that you will come up upon Earth again without having to change directions and turn arround…
in lamens terms: travel from point A to point B on a flat plane and without changing directions coming up opon point A again
i have no clue on how scientis proved this but i read the article (tho i hardly understood all the scientific talk)
Most scientist speculate and base this by mathamatics. They might say it, but they know that it could be wrong scince we have such little knowledge of our universe.So, space travel at the speed of light will not be likly ever until somone thinks of a way to take the pressure off the object. I for one also think that America isin’t going to be invinting anything important to the astronmey science. Its most likly going to be either Russia or Japan.

Are you talking about that US Naval ship that used high levels of electricity to make itself become invisible but disappeared instead? I saw something like that on the learning channel a few years back. When the ship came back the crew was either missing or stuck in the walls and floors. I cant remember the name of the ship I’ll post something about it if I can find it.

I think your mistaken. When an object approaches the speed of light, mass and energy increase. So the closer to light it gets the heavier it becomes and more energy is required to travel at that speed. When reaching the speed of light your mass become infinite and so does the energy required to move at that speed.

Well said Cheesumba. The people that are shoving a bomb in our ass is but a few individuals who seem to have everyone under their grasp. Our only freedom is to think on our own. For one, turn off the tv. Everything today is made to scare and shock us. Otherwise we wouldnt watch it.
