Also the mods and supermods should lighten up. I agree posting pics and giving links is wrong. But if you say somthign about Kazaa someones on your ass about it. Kazaa is sharware/freeware it may be illegal but the program itself isn’t a warez or anything.
Hell I bet lots of you DL music,Roms,Emulaters and the odd Warez There illegal. Most of my programs are Warez.
Alot of forums are alot more laid back,everyoen here is tense. I know what its liek to be a mod. I for one am a SuperMod for another forum. But I’m not tense or anything. the forum is ncie and laid back.
yesn OWA, good point, i dont see why everyone is so uptight here, im also a mod of 2 other forums, rsm and agct, and both the forums there have alot nicer feel to them, i mean i look forward to post on agct, nice i know there will be no bad mouthing posts and stuff like that, on esf theres allways ppl getting warning for real light stuff.

Amen to that tempus!!! As of late, i’ve been really turned off to post on these forums because alot of moderators are really personal. But it kind of makes sense, being most of them haven’t completed juniour high (or high school) yet. They should consider this responsiblity to be a learning experience and swallow their pride and act in the best interest of everyone on this forum, not just themselves. And that would mean not flaming someone just because they got in a fight with their parents.
While on the subject, i can see why they don’t want hentai talk at all here, again, considering the average forum-goer is underage, and hentai is considered illegeal in many places (like here in BC) and it was a desion made by those who pay for this site to keep hentai out. I would say that if you want to talk about it, go to another forum. Sorry, but freedom of speech doesn’t mean you can shout, “****!!!” in church and get away with it, neither can you defy ground rules posted for all to see.

most of the mods are about 17-19
im not talking just about hentai, and also u made my point thou, i want the rules for things to change, lighten up abit, i dont mean things like kiddie porn or some stupid crap like that should be ok to talk about, im takeing about things like, kazza, warez, mod chips, and hentai, things like that.
this place would be alot nicer, and people would be in alot better moods if you this place had more lighter rules.
I kind of agreee with you Tepus. The mod was only doing his job. It specifically says in the rule that you cannot make any reference to Hentai at all. So the mod was just doing what hes supposed to and ended a thread that dosent belong in this forum.
On the other side of things I do think this forum is a little up tight.
One reason for this is the shear size of this forum. This is a fairly big forum compared to most others and has many more members than most others. This is why you occasionally get the idiot that posts something stupid. But yes this is just a forum and should be treated as one. This is not a penetentary. The mods do give us freedom. Its just that the guy’s post was centered on Hentai, which is probably why it got closed.
editlol I was studying the French Revolution is history today. I just thought it was kinda ironic. They wanted major reforms and we want reforms to!!!
edit again I just read the post again and now I understand why it was closed and he got a warning. It was entirely based on Hentai and most of the posts thereafter were also very closely related to porn.

I see nothing wrong with Hentai just as long as no pics are posted.

Kiddy Porn is entirely illegal in most countries. So that cant be mentioned on these forums in fear of Govt. interference.
Same with warez.

Once again I agree with you. Its just that that post was a bad example, he got warned for a reason. He blantly posted about Hentai. In the rules you cant do that. It was too much of a joke. And then people had the nerve to start posting about even more porn. I dont think that belongs in this forum (not that thats my decision). Once in a while it is good to kid around just not to that extent. Like I said before the mods do let us joke around. There are reasons for most of these rules. I do however agree that this forum needs to lighten up a bit.
