Dont compare Brazil to US underline. I've been in Natal and the women's mentality is completelly diferent from the usual. I'm not that much of a galant guy but in Natal I managed to meet several cool girls in a short ammount of time, it would not happen in my country for sure.

If you think ur ugly then make a cool hair style and beard. if you think ur fat then make some sport to loose a few pounds. Yes I believe brazilian women enjoy messing around with foreign men, BUT, EVEN SO, they have a higher level of hormones than most women, plus they are very simple and energetic, wich makes them kind of funnier.
