esf dosnt show up un the mod listing either And this may sound like a stupid question but, what is the command line?

I got the new verson of halflife, installed it, downloaded ESF, and installed it. Started up ESF and it said it needed to find hl.exe so i let it and now whenever i start ESF, it just goes to the HL startup screen. Any help would be grand...
