ok,i got 1.0.0.5 but then when i try to play it says "cannot find hl.exe"?Where can i get that file?

ok,i try to get the 1.0.0.5 patch (to update the game) then when its done downloading it says: Could not initalize installation.File size expected=121137572,size returned=2202822.The handle is invalid. plzz help me.. P.S. i have alot of space on my computer(so it cant be that :( )
