hmm... haven't posted in forums in a LONG time. Anyway. This Zanzoken sound's pretty cool, but i do have to agree that it is kinda useless. People will know that it is possible, and dettonate the blast without even thinking whether or not you will port or not. Kinda like shield attack...

i'm almost positive it's just the blob itself. i really, REALLY hate it when you fire a beam, and when u reach a certain power level, almost every time u fire a beam and kill someone, the light from the blast goes to the extreme edges of the map and stays there for a very long time.

i'm glad u can see the shield, cause i sure can't. well.... at least not until AFTER i release the alt. fire button:S . is this cause of like NO graphics card or is it normal for now?

sorry about double post. I just tried that with holding the alt. fire button to increase power (even though i don't know WHY i tried it) and it does NOTHING for the power that i could notice. might try it again later just for kicks, but still don't see it.

i agree, the shield attack COULD use a cap, but how often do you get enough energy during normal game play to get a map killer with the shield attack? i hardly ever see people use beams unless it's a "No melee or be kicked/banned" or "Beams only" server.

ok, i myself have never seen this happen. One possible reason i can think of is that the person fires the shield attack after the ki blob starts which, depending on how much was absorbed by the shield, would make the explosion from the ki blob very huge. (More likely than not this is the case...

i have never seen the front of a beam bend or be bent at all, and also, the front of the beam is not very big because..... it helps to see if your enemy moves/what way he moves.
