try looking on esf homepage. somewhere should be summin labelled old files esf alpha should be there

go to options in there, there is a network tab in there

im not sure but it may be the hl does not support anything greater than 2.1 sound. Try asking people with 4.1 surround or greater and see if they have the same problem

before u connect try updateing ur connection in all-seeing-eye in the network tab, the info here may be different to what r actually getting

;/ wat the hell r u on about u dont need to change xps look just right-click on the shortcut for half-life or whatever u use to launch esf in properties there should be a compatability tab change it to run in compatability mode for 98 or whatever
