Main thing I'm looking at is online game play. PlayStation Network is free and Xbox Live isn't. But is Live that much better for the money?

So I was thinking about buying one of them, but just wanted to hear a few opinions first. I haven't kept up with console gaming in a really long time so yeah...Which one do you guys prefer, or neither? And why?

When I say kiblobs, I mean the bubbles back in 1.2.3. Those are gone. Smoke after explosions is enabled by default in advanced options and yet there still is none. Also, that aura trail isn't the same one as what I mean. But other than that, yeah...

I'm not sure if it's true, but I heard there's a way to fix the kiblob bug for your server. If so, how do you do it?

Oh my bad, I found out you only see a trail when you charge a beam. Does anyone know what sprite that one is?

I was just wondering which file controls the swoop trail when you fly?

I just downloaded ESF Beta 1.1 - Reversed ESF repack from ESF-World and followed the directions. I put the esf_reversed folder into my Half-Life folder and started up the game, but when I try to join the ESF-World server, it doesn't get past "Parsing game info..." on the loading screen. Any ideas?

Ok, is it just me, or is Steam not working?

When I try to change map to a custom one I have installed on my server, I usually get this: "WARNING: couldn't open namek.wad"

I can't get Free Fight to work on my server. I put "mp_gamemode 0" in the server.cfg, but that doesn't work. And I don't have a GUI anymore because I'm running HLDS in console mode. No matter what I do, it stays on Teamplay.

When I transform in any server now, I can only hear the sounds. It doesn't show any of the other effects.
