Okay, so install it in just a clean Half-Life, but now now I cannot load into a game.
Trying to launch a lan game starts up gets a little ways through then the loading window vanishes and am back at the main menu. Looking at the console I am getting various errors trying to load different levels.
I think as a special condition you should be able to detach a beam when struggling against a ball. Or just make the alternate fire for any beam/ball attack non controlable ie fire and forget. But at the same time that should reduce the power of the attack.
