Ok when I load up esf_mid all the textures look like a purple and black checkerboard. Does anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it, or have a file I could replace to fix it??

Try getting a download manager. I use Download Accelerator Plus, I get the Error you get but the manager still finds the file. hope this helps.:)

Im not sure what the prob would be, but maybe you should try re-downloading esf beta1. It may fix the prob. but it might not. If you have a slow connection try to fix it somemore before you have to sit 4 a day or 2. sorry I cant offer more help to you.o_o
