Just because someone did not read a topic or might of actually skipped over it by mistake does not mean they are stupid or impatient. I know about the recover after behind hit..its just most times you cant because there is so much crap around that you get nailed into something before you can recover. The only times ive been able to recover is if its a very open map.

Ive played enough..big games, small games, you name it. To me personally, melee is overpowered and boring. The fact that you gain an insane speed boost when you swoop makes melee horribly unbalanced. Also if you are hit with a beam, you will still be swooping and nail that person with a melee...

Yeah melee is nice and a good idea..but it gets a bit boring when 90% of the esf players use it non stop. You should not be able to swoop through a beam. If you get hit head on with a beam..your not gonna be able to keep on swooping unless your ungodly powerful. You say block the person trying...

I do use the generic beam..most times thats ALL i use. Even though it has a short charge time..by the time you hit them and can move again, your already hit across the map/into the ground. If your hit to the ground..well just get ready to respawn because there will be a big ol beam headed right...

Frieza's primary fire on his finger laser also goes through the shield. Also if you have a disk out and ready to fire..let someone hit you head on with melee. Sure you might take some damage, but magically they will die from it.

Block only goes so far though. When you go on a server and 8 out of every 10 people are whoring melee all day, what fun is that? You cant really kill anyone with beams most times unless you melee stun them first, even then you risk getting hit from the side by some other melee user. I believe...
