did they change the range on the scouter so that it can detect people from farther away than the old one

it would make a great addition to the ESF attacks, i know i would use it a lot. just like gohan did in the buu saga when and shin went into the spaceship to find buu before he was hatched.

When i am playing on a lan game and want to add a bot and press the button tobring the menu where type addbot in i can not get the menu to come down i press the button and nothing happens??? i have no idea what is wrong
