well apart from that..... i just find it amazing how easy and how fun it is to mess with that game for example the vice city back to the future mod (granted the forums are filled with people who can barely speak english trying to ask pointless questions "please halp what is read me?")...

you have to try and look at them all untill you find the one your looking for and lith youv obviously never modded gta

the minimap is just images your going to have to find it in gta3.img in your models folder using the img tool they should all be .txd files im not sure what theyr called tho coz iv never edited the minimap but what you do is find the one that is of the area where your island is and edit it in...

u mean the minimap? coz to do that you have to edit the texture files for the minimap they SHOULD be somewhere in Gta3.img (YES I KNOW ITS SAN ANDREAS)

i know a ****load about gta modding probably too much what you should do is learn how to edit gta.dat and how to add map peices in easily then you should be able to just take one look at it and know what the problem is

heres what you do make a backup copy of your data models and movies folders then copy the ones you get from the download into your san andreas folder and it should work
