Actually the problem of people annoying duelers did get solved in a very popular mod. JA plus...The server has the option of enabling it so that when two people go into a duel everyone else fades out. People can still watch the said duel, but they can not in any way distract the duelers.

A solution for the "yes/no" spam could be the same way jka deals with it. In order to actually accept a duel you must press the "challenge" button while aiming at them within three or so seconds. The default bind for this key is out of the way to avoid accidental accepts. I can't tell you how...

Yup perhaps I should of been more clear, but thats exactly what I was getting at. Since you aren't really focus'd on being rooted, but on countering theres more knockback. I really think this idea will work out wonderfully. To top it off I can't think of a way to really exploit this system.
