u have to start half-life one time before installing esf to steam

half-life 1 with the verson 1.1.1.0 or with steam if u want to play online

buying a legal version of half-life? and dont use keys from a keygenerator

go to your esf folder. create a folder named "events". enter the folder. create an empty textfile and rename it to meleesounds.sc

maybe u have no songs in the playlist. try it with the playlist editor. or are u using won? cause on won it doesnt work i think

get sure that u have esf 1.2.2b or higher and that u are connecting to a esf 1.2.2b server and not to a esf 1.1b, esf 1.2b or esf 1.2.1b server

u only need to start the installer then it should find the right path automaticaly ;-) but dont forget to start half-life 1(and to exit ^^) before trying to install esf

first of all TFC Source is not going to come(okey it could be that some fans of this mod make it) but atm there is only Team Fortress Forever in delevopment and TF 2. and TF2 is going to be a fullprice game. it is ur decision... if u cant live without esf u should buy half life 1. if u cant...

the download is a pop up so u only have to deactivate ur pop up blocker or firewall(they sometimes block popups/ads). and if u think "hmm but the pop up comes" yeah this could be but the download is a pop up in the pop up ;-)

it helps with loss and chokes but when it helps with the ping times i would think that there was already a failure somewhere (software, hardware w/e). cause this shouldnt help with the milliseconds

if u dont have Half-Life 1 or Counter-Strike (not CSCZ or CSS) u cant play esf

then close steam via taskmanager so that u can start steam again

then it is still a textfile u have to eliminate the *.txt at the end
