I played true crime streets of la once. I can't imagine yoy guys find that a good game.It has like 3 different missions,fighting shooting and driving and that bores to death .ALso it's full of bugs. oh and a spoiler about it it has mutants and dragons in it,really, what were the creators...

Good to see some activity in the models section :) About that Stormrage model: - He seems to be wearing shoulderpads,and as far as i know he doesnt wear any. - I wouldn't extrude the start of his hair at all,with a texture you could get it more round and natural looking - You got alot of wasted...

Not to bad,but i suggest that you use references,go to 3d.sk or so (warning it contains nudity) I also did a small drawover to show you the wasted poly's on your model,I didnt place my lines very well in ps though.

There is a Max Payne movie in the making,incase you didn't know. I would like to see a Duke Nukem movie (iirc it was announced sometime but has been on hold for a long time now) I'm also looking forward to the sequel of Cloverfield.

Second attempt at modeling my grandpa... Body and Wire: Head with Diffuse,Specular and Normal maps(wip): I'm gonna start making the highpoly body soon...

For the hl2 plugin you have to go the the maya folder in "your documents" and put the scripts in the scripts folder and the shelves and icons in the shelves and icon's folder.Then you have to restart maya and you'll see that you can now import/export smd's.

Prall's plug-in for maya lets you import hl1 and 2 smd's. i don't know if it works for maya 2008 though. You can find it here http://mitglied.lycos.de/prallvamp/

@DBZhell: yeah his skin looked way to grey,fixed that now. I worked mostly on the body texture,still have to fix the noise on the head.
