Okay...this whole "you have to use steam" is just about the biggest sack of monkey **** i've seen. I CANNOT CONNECT TO STEAM. this is so dumb, how can i use anything if i don't, and can't, use steam?!

dude...I had that SAME problem. Unfortunatly the only way to fix it (as far as i found out) is to reinstall Half-Life itself... then ESF and then the update... (if that doesn't work, then: uninstall HL, then shut down compy and let RAM get reset...then try a clean install of HL) (keep trying...

Okay, this may be dumb, but what about this: If a beam will kill a char. just liike in the show what if it went straight through them and kept going? and they discintigrated... or have a hole through them and body falls down to the ground...? Maybe something to include when ESForces uses HL2...
