    GTA IV :: Released today!

    And even then people have had problems with SecuROM crashing Vista. I'm glad I picked up the 360 version.

    Vegeta's Brother

    It's just Toriyama's sense of humor, bear in mind that pre-Dragonball he made a name for himself drawing talking pieces of poop. Bulma's name is a pun on the word "Bloomers" which is some kind of women's undergarment, Trunks and Dr. Briefs are pretty obvious, though in the manga it was never...

    Vegeta's Brother

    "Saiya" is an anagram of Yasai, the Japanese word for vegetable, thus every Saiyan name is a pun on a vegetable of some sort. Toriyama always seems to have to use puns to name his characters, he mostly sticks to food puns, he also occasionally uses English words as well, sadly a lot of the...

    GTA IV :: Released today!

    The 360 version has already been patched, also DLC content has been confirmed (exclusive?) though you're right about the mods. If I had a decent rig, I'd pick up the pc version, but it's nice to pop in a disc and be able to play a new game with no trouble.

    Vegeta's Brother

    I'm personally hoping for a special every year (Before the seiyuu start to die off), I don't think the series can really go anywhere if it was given another anime, not without Toriyama's involvement.

    Vegeta's Brother

    For those who don't want to stream it; http://www.megaupload.com/de/?d=PRHVQGQ1 It's a 280 meg .flv file. As a whole I really enjoyed it, all of the seiyuu sound as if they never left (probably thanks to the videogames) the new Head Cha-La animation was amazing, and it was nice hearing...

    Dragon Ball Z - Things You Didn't Like

    Arlia was filler. As for things I don't like about the show (Putting what FUNimation did to it aside) -The filler for one, even ignoring the Garlic jr. and Anoyoichi Budokai arcs, just the way meaningless padding ruined the pace of the series. -The Super Saiya-jin power up was too high...

    Evolution

    You may have your beliefs, but there is no logic involved. Surely your time is better spent doing something else?, instead of indulging in the misinformed ramblings of the psuedo-intellectual, and forcing everyone else to endure it while you ignore all reason.

    Evolution

    Pick and choose pseudoscience is the backbone of any Intelligent Design argument. I encourage everyone to go and watch Penn and Teller's episode on creationism, it's absolutely hilarious. I don't believe in faith being proven, or justified through science, it just doesn't work, because it...

    Sonic confirmed for Super Smash Bros

    I need to find someone to hug. Now.

    Kamisama Kazoku

    I reccomend it, as someone who has recently purchased Madman's R4 DB sets, it's a fantastic show, and even steals Z's thunder on several occasions. And I'd rather watch GT subbed than watch Z dubbed :S

    Speaking My Mind

    Heh, I know what you mean, I often tell myself why I bother actually posting here. Concerning the topic, my first experience on this forum (not counting my short lived stint years ago) was me speaking my mind concerning the open beta, granted I didn't mince words, and could have been more...

    Transparent frogs help researchers without disection.

    That was never my intention to imply otherwise, I just think those who campaign that religion should dictate every decision made in our society are completely out of touch, so I apologize if it seemed I was stereotyping an entire religion.

    Transparent frogs help researchers without disection.

    Because so many Christians talk the tolerance talk, but they don't educate themselves on other religions, they are too caught up in being the self proclaimed moral compass of our planet to realize how ignorant and intolerant they really are. If there is another large scale terrorist attack on...

    Transparent frogs help researchers without disection.

    Religion has absolutely nothing to do with common sense (as you've made painfully obvious) please don't talk about disrespect when you are having a fanatical hissy fit because not everybody here follows YOUR religion. Take your sanctimonious Christian bull**** and shove it, your ignorance...

    Transparent frogs help researchers without disection.

    QFT Religion has no place in how anything is run, anyone who devoutly believes the bible (or insert religious text here) is infallible, really has no right dictating what should and shouldn't be done with science. Religion has had it's run dictating our actions, if we want to better...

    Halo 3 Reviews

    I had my first hands on time with it today. On a superficial level, it's really inconsistent, at some points it looks amazing, and others just a high resolution Halo 2. I personally got the most fun out of the "Forge" gameplay mode, which I believe is a way of customizing items and spawn...

    How Desperate is This Guy?

    I thought Uwe Boll's movies were just plain awful. Until I studied film that is. Then my eyes began to bleed.

    Halo 3 Reviews

    I think it's just the after effects of the Halo 2 hype machine, so many people were disappointed by it (I'm speaking mostly about the single player) I thought Halo 1, while in no way revolutionary and groundbreaking (I really hate hearing that, Halo did nothing new whatsoever) was very solid...

    Dragon Ball Z: Sparking Meteor/Tenkaichi 3 [PS2/WII]

    Not to mention that whole trip and kick mini-combo with the two teleports, I forget how it's done. If I wasn't lazy I'd dig up someone's post on Daizex that doesn't take transformations in the character count, I think it ended up around 93 or so, I'm not sure what Sparking Neo's count was...
