animations and movement are pretty fast, so u won't really notice the clipping during gameplay.
I think we're doing everything we can to get rid of clipping, modeling-wise and animation-wise, but I believe it's not really possible to avoid it by 100%with hl animation system and such flexible...
again with the story mode... =/
it`s like u ppl think it goes : oh! lets do this! *snap* done!!! let's do that! *snap* done!
and even if we would want to make a story mode, imagine how long it would take if multiplayer takes so long?

yeah, I noticed that too... but most of that kind of drastic actions look weird in hl beause of how bones deform the mesh..
ofcourse i`m not trying to prove that my model is perfect, I`ll give him some improvements later on, cuz I have more important stuff to do (models) :D
