    Well I think I'd spend about less than $500 on my base comp. but then later ill upgrade. The one I'm eyeing right now: Athlon 2600+ XP 512 mb RAM 128 Radeon 9200 120 Gig HD P.S. go to Tiger Direct if you want a cheap one.
