So if u was to luanch a dedicated server and it doesnt show up in the server list...should i add the sv_lan 0 in the dedicatedserver.cfg file? will that make my dedicated server show up in the server list when i hit update?

Nobody is going to help you here. You are going to have to look up the information by yourself. I know it sucks but thats just how they are. I still havent recieved help on how to make a dedicated server show up in the server list :rolleyes:

does a router count?...If so then yes i have a firewall because i have a router. If a router isnt a firewall then no i dont have a firewall...Is there ways i can get around this

well i tried putting -port 27025 on my shortcut menu, that didnt work. I tried it with 27015 that didnt work... i dunno i guess i am just going to give up :( unless there is something you guys are forgetting?!?!

I already know there is a thread similar to this. but it didnt give me the answer i was looking for. I have a dedicated server but when i launch it, it wont show up in the list of servers with the others. I was wondering how could i get it to show up with the others? anyone have any ideas?
