Hey guys,
After coldsteel told me about his story I got curious and I started my own fanfiction story. It's about an apocalyptic future and one man called Jason Connor who survived an attack from his enemy. I hope you guys like it. Please give me comments about it.
Goodluck reading it...
I also think that's the best way. I learned it the same way.
Gizmo: Don't ask to soon. Just try-out somethings before asking for help. Then you will learn much faster.
Take a look at TWHL: click here
They have a lot of tut's.
I'm still trying out somethings with seamless mapping. But can expect some changes to the map soon. And I think I will stick with that suggestion of yours. :)
Mapping is very easy. Once you've got the hang of it you can build levels in no-time. I allready made a lot of maps but never released them. By making/building a lot maps you will learn a lot faster then when somebody is teaching you what to do. I learned a lot from cold_steel by just sitting...
Uuh cold_steel, I think my computer will explode if I compile this.
@movento: Yes it's for ESF and it's not done. So I will add some trees and stuff. And I need to make some minor adjustments to the textures.
@Half-Unit: I know what you mean. This kind of mapping just makes maps better...
Thanx for the comments. I allready tried this technique a little while ago. But this is the first 'complete' map I did.
The underwater area is just plain, nothing interesting down there. But why do I have to get rid of the water? I like it this way. Sure the watertexture isn't very good, but...
heey peeps,
After some lessons from cold_steel i've started mappin' again. Let me know what you think of it.
It doesn't have a theme or something like that, I just started and I ended up with this:
clicky
:)
You will have to change the light sources. Maybe add a little more. This is a known problem. So play around with the ligth entities and try to place them somewhere else, or like I said add some more.
