I posted a thread up for this exact same problem too. this sucks i always just get kicked right back to my desktop. Plz someone help us i dont know whats wrong.

I had the exact same problem trying to install the patch but you first need to install the game befor installing the patch. the patch cant find the real game. So all you have to do is go find the real game before you download the patch.

I just got done downloading this game and whenever i try to go into a server, right when i get there it takes me back to my desktop and exits out of the game. i dont know why this is happening. May somebody help me plz. Thanx very much
